Fate

A lot of people have a page in my life.
People passed by you everyday.
You never get to know them.
But I met with you, and get closer to you.
That is fate, and I treasured the love that I have toward you.
You might only be a couple pages in my journey
At least, we are on the same page now.

Unity and separation don’t belong to each other
They always like to stand behind each other
Once one of them comes to your life,
The other would follow.
It might take them a long time,
But it could be really quick too.
Since you don’t know when it comes,
Don’t wait to love the people who you want to love.
To write a wonderful page in your life journey.
To enjoy and treasure the moment with your loved one.

I don’t know what will happen in the next moment.
I might just meet someone else on the street
To begin a new page in my life.
Since there is no way to capture the moment of your life,
Don’t waste any moment of your life.
Don’t be afraid, just do it
There is no return ticket,
So try your best to make no regret to your life,
And God would look after the rest of it.

Home

Everybody needs a home.
What does home mean to you?
A private storage place,
A Secured place to sleep,
A place to stay when you have nothing to do,
A place to hide yourself from others,
Where you can relax,
Where your family is,
Where you can be yourself….

All the above make absolutely sense.
That should be what people call home.

Have you ever feel homeless at home?
Haha, what is my question again?
Right, feel homeless at home.
It means
Home doesn’t give you the feeling of home.

The most important component of home is
Sense of belonging,
Feeling of joy and peace.
That is my home!!!

Childhood

What was your childhood look like?
I guess it depends on a lot of factors,
When was your childhood?
Where did you grow up?
Are you a female or male?
Are you a single child?
Do you have brother or sister or both?
Who did you play with?

What was the most memorial thing happen in your childhood?
To me, it was a very silly thing,
I love to play in the heavy rain,
Especially when it was flood everywhere,
Jump into all the little ponds on the street,
Play until I am all wet and full of dirt.

It is unforgettable to me because
I have never done it again after I grew up?
There was no heavy rain in Calgary at all?
I was naïve and brave enough to do it.

As you grow up,
you have more life experience, knowledge,
and a lot of people tell what is right or wrong.
Well, it makes you a more presentable person
In the meantime, you are losing the braveness
to be yourself in public.
Is that the reason why people miss their childhoods?

Friends

After 13 years of being away from home,
I have met a lot of people all along, and
they are all considered to be my friends.
Good/bad, far/close, different ages, different countries…

Sometime I ask myself,
what the definition of friend is.
I guess the definition changes as time passed by.
Friends can be somebody:
You wanna play with,
You wanna talk to,
You wanna share things with,
You are comfortable with,
Care about you, love you,
Always be there when you need them
If you are lucky,
you can find someone who has all of the above.

Ask yourself, do you have a lot of friends?
How many of them are true friends?
I am so lucky because I got YOU!!!!!

Lost

I am sure everybody has lost something before.
Have you ever try to find it in any way?
Look into your bags, closet, drawer, pockets.
Look back the path that you walked through,
the vehicles that you were on,
the shops that you have visited.
People feel frustrated, scared, and panic depends on how important the thing you lost is.

It might be as simple as a piece of paper.
But it can drive you nut to find it.
Haha, keys, wallet, student id, cell phone, rings, glasses …
Have you even gone into the lost and found department at any airport, train station?
You can find something that you can never think of,
like a baby, a pair of shoe, TV, VCR, Laptop….
Isn’t that interesting?

In the modern age,
it is easy enough to get a new one if you lost something
(Not a baby I guess, well, may be?)
All the things above are tangibles,
but what if people lost the direction of lives.

How can they find it again?
When you compare this with anything I have mentioned above,
Which is more important to you?
It is obvious that the direction or goal of your lives is more important.
If you could be upset by losing one of the above things,
I couldn’t imagine how people would react if they loss the direction of lives.
What would you do when you feel lost?

Late!

Late to work.
Late to school.
Late for bus.
Late to home.
Late for dinner.

We can also late to love someone we care so much.

I question about why they want to be late.
People like to say they don’t have enough time.
They have too many things to do.
They are too busy.
They are so tired.
So people think that it is totally fine to be late.

How I look at it is a little bit different.
The action of being late usually comes with a rush.
I always miss a lot of important stuffs when I am in a rush.
Something I might regret for my whole life.
It might be just a call, a sentence, a meal…
How do you know it wouldn’t happen to you in the next minute?
So sit down and think about what we should do from now on.

Dream

Yesterday, I was talking to a friend, and we talked about DREAM.
It is lovely to have a dream, but it is so sad to lose your dream.
So why do people want to have dream in the first place.

Everybody has a dream or dreams.
Something you can be achieved in the real world.
Something you can think of in the fantasy world.
Something can take up your whole life to work on.
Something can be done in a short time.
Dream can be established anything, anywhere, and anytime.

Truthfully, power of having a dream is unbelievable once you have a dream.
But, it all comes down to why we want to have a dream.
Dream keeps you work.
Dream gives you direction.
Dream can also lead your emotion up and down.

I might be sad to lose my dream.
I will be sadder if I don’t have a dream.

Somebody would say life is about Money.
Life is about Reputation.
Life is about Achievement.
Life is about Acknowledge.
Life is about how to survive.

I really don't know.
It doesn't mean you will have a good life if you have all the above.
It doesn't mean you will have a terrible life since you don't have any of the above.
How people value their lives?
It really varies a lot for different people, at different age, in different location.
Does it matter what kind of life we have?

I would say
Life is difficult.
Life is bitter.
Life is tough.
That is the foundation of your life.

But also life is full of joy.
Life is graceful.
Life is a very enjoyable adventure.
That is the beauty of life.

Be thankful to live, to have a chance to love, to care, to give, to learn, to share, and to enjoy everyday of your life.
